Our grand opening was a huge success, it was absolutely mobbed. The studio was so crowded that the attendees were literally spilling out into the street. We are utterly grateful to our friend Sergio Vega for spinning at the party and being the coolest DJ in the world! We also have to credit Jesse’s father, the incredibly talented architect, Carl Stein for designing the perfect space for us to fulfill our dream. And of course we can’t forget to extend our deepest thanks to our very good freinds, Carlyle Micklus and Will Sulots, who tediously constructed the space according to Carl’s specifications taking it from nothing to perfection! Thanks mama Nancy XXXX!
We have already had enthusiastic and very supportive reactions. We look forward to furthering our unique presence in both the tattoo and gallery arenas. The gallery and tattoo studio are combined into a clean, minimalist space with the gallery in the front and the tattoo studio in the back. The two parts working together as a whole have thus far been greeted by admiration and awe by clients. It’s truly a unique space and worth visiting if in New York City. Don’t forget there is a seperate artist’s reception for Juan Puente, currently in Japan, on May 12th at 7:30pm.
We have updated our links so please take a look at some of the tattooists, artists and curators’ works which will be exhibited at Invisible NYC.
